Ministry of Commerce and Wing Specialized Bank Cambodia Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Non-Disclosure of Information in order for the two parties to prepare to link up Ministry of Commerce’s Business Registration System and Certificate of Origin Automated System with Wing’s electronic payment system. This collaboration is aimed to further facilitate ease of payment for Ministry of Commerce’s public services.
Automation Systems of the Ministry of Commerce, Business Registration and issuance of Certificate of Origin, were put into operation since January 4, 2016. These systems allow the users to make payment for various public services provided by the Ministry of Commerce electronically with 3 commercial banks including Canadia, ACLEDA, and Foreign Trade Bank (FTB). As part of the Ministry of Commerce’s continuous policies in facilitating ease of business startup and ease of doing business, the Ministry of Commerce and Wing Specialized Bank has agreed to link up their respective systems so that the payment for public services can be done seamlessly, efficiently and quickly. Such linking can also contribute to the strengthening of management and collection of State income.
Ministry of Commerce will continue to implement their policies and shall look to cooperate with other financial institutions in the future in order to widen the payment mechanism.
